The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office announces additional community meetings that will be held during the month of May, as part of the series of meetings across the area  to provide citizens another way to connect with their Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Chief Deputy Josh Summerford, investigators and deputies, will be on-hand at each meeting to answer questions or listen to concerns. 

Sheriff Shaver informed WEIS Radio News that those first two meetings, held May 1st at the Cloudland Fire Department and May 3rd at the Spring Garden Fire Department drew substantial numbers of citizens and he greatly appreciated everyone taking the time to stop by and share their thoughts and opinions.

More community meetings will be scheduled throughout the summer.
