Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Toby Gwinn Abernathy, age 45 of Centre – Non-Support and Failure to Appear on prior charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Reckless Endangerment and Attempting to Elude;

Keioga Troy Quarles, age 27 of Cedar Bluff – Resisting Arrest, Bond Revocation and Failure to Appear on prior charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

and

Terry Wayne Wright, age 54 of Piedmont – Failure to Appear on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and a violation of the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 78 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
