A late night accident occurring earlier this week resulted in a Cherokee County man being transported to a Birmingham area hospital for treatment.
That single-vehicle crash took place on Highway 278 West of Piedmont around 11:00 Tuesday night, with the driver reportedly being air-lifted from the scene.
