Five Arrested Locally on Tuesday including One Charged with Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement and Assault 3rd Degree

Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Quantez Antionne Johnson, age 31 of Ellenwood, Georgia – Attempting to Elude, Attempted Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Assault 2nd Degree;

Dusty Lee Davis, age 31 of Floyd County, Georgia – Probation Violation and Probation Revocation;

Christopher Scott Rogers, age 37 of Centre – Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance;

Jacob Eugene Strackbein, age 41 of Rome, Georgia – Domestic Violence 3rd Degree and DUI;

and

Thomas Christopher Salmon, 29 of Cedar Bluff – Failure to Appear on prior charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (three counts) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 77 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
