Three individuals have been arrested on charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine as the result of a visit from Floyd County law enforcement officials last Friday.
Christopher Jackson Colburn, age 59; 60 year old Levon Boyd Tucker and 52-year old Sheila Irene Carter were taken into custody after members of the Rome/Floyd Metro Task Force searched a residence on Woods Road; the search turned up more than 20 grams of methamphetamine, a 12 gauge shotgun and a set of digital scales.
Tucker and Carter were also charged with the Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Carter was additionally charged with Tampering with Evidence – after she allegedly tossed a glass pipe into a toilet in an attempt to destroy it.
