A Cherokee County man was hurt by a bull early Saturday afternoon.
McCords Fire Chief Rich Lindsey told WEIS Radio first responders were dispatched to that location in the 7800 block of County Road 16 – in response to a report of person suffering “serious” injuries after being thrown into a fence by a bull.
The victim was transported by Floyd EMS to a nearby trauma center for treatment of non-specified injuries. The incident occurred just after 1:00pm.
No word yet on the condition of the injured party.
