Deputies recently responded to a domestic violence call on Hustleville in Albertville, however prior to their arrival at the residence the offender forced the victim to drive him away from the scene. As deputies approached the home they actually passed the pair as the female victim was trying to flag them down. The offender witnessed this and then began striking the woman in the face; after that he jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
The suspect, identified as Eric William Ledford from Albertville was later located and taken into custody – charged with Domestic Violence by Strangulation or Suffocation. He is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail on a $30,000.00 bond.
