SAND ROCK – Maggie Tinsley and Rylin St. Clair both homered to lead the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 16-1 softball win in four innings over visiting Gaston on Thursday.

Tinsley and St. Clair were both 2-for-3 on the day.

Tinsley also walked, scored twice and drove in five runs. St. Clair added a double and had three RBIs.
Maggie Hester also went 2-for-3 with a triple, two walks and three runs. Katelyn St. Clair doubled, scored a run and had two RBIs. EllaGrace Hood had a hit, a walk and three runs. Lacey Barnette finished with a hit, a run and two RBIs.
Hood picked up the win in the circle. She surrendered an unearned run on three hits with a walk and eight strikeouts.
Sand Rock is scheduled to host Gadsden City Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
