Sheriff’s Office Has Been Busy With Spring Cleaning Across The County

Message from Sheriff Shaver|

Recently you may have noticed the many orange trash bags dotting the side of the roads of Cherokee County.  The Sheriff’s Office inmate work crew, along with many individuals and groups, have been making a concerted effort to clean litter from our County.  This effort has been very productive and I thank everyone that has contributed.

April is the month that is designated as the time to clean up Alabama.  Please join us and the many dedicated persons that are making a huge difference in our environment.  Please don’t litter and don’t leave items in your truck or boat that could blow onto the roadways.

Cherokee County is a great place to live, work and raise a family.  Lets all work together to make Cherokee County clean!
