Mrs. Nelda Hollingsworth age 60 of Centre passed away Friday April 2nd at UAB Hospital.
Nelda was born in Centre, Al. on July 19, 1960 to Monroe and Nell Green. She was the youngest of 5 children.

Nelda married Lonnie Hollingsworth on February 14, 1987, and they raised two children, Crystal and Jonathon. Nelda was a long time member of Clearview Worship Center and loved her church family.

Nelda is survived by her children, Crystal (Billy) Clark and Jonathon (Briana) Hollingsworth; her chosen son, Bobby (Jennifer) Paul; her grandchildren, Abi and Audri McCord, Navy and Wilder Hollingsworth, Kaleb, Mary and Molly Clark and Emilee Paul; her brothers, Tommy (Rolene) Green, Starrett (Donna) Green, Teddy Michael (Betty) Green and Darrell (Sheila) Green; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nell Green and her father, Monroe Green; her husband, Lonnie Hollingsworth; her beloved dog, Scooter.
A private memorial service will be held for Nelda’s family and church family on Friday evening at Clearview Worship Center from 6 until 7 PM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Clearview Worship Center in memory of Nelda Hollingsworth.
