Troopers Work Two Accidents In Cherokee County Over The Weekend

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency worked two accidents in Cherokee County over the weekend.

The first occurred just before 3:30 on Saturday on Alabama Highway 35 just north of County Road 15 and involved a 2013 Hyundai. According to reports, the vehicle left the road and overturned striking a tree and entrapping both occupants listed on the accident report as residents of Centre.

No information was provided concerning the condition of either individual injured.

The Broomtown Fire Department, Floyd EMS and Rescue Squad personnel responded in addition to State Troopers.

Just prior to 4:30 that afternoon emergency crews responded to a two vehicle accident on Highway 411 north near County Road 113 in front of the Dollar General Store.

According to the Troopers that accident involved a 2001 Chevy and a 1998 Toyota. According to the report there were no injuries.

The Spring Creek Fire Department also responded to the scene.
