Mrs. Linda Joyce Grimes age 71 of Centre passed away Sunday March 28th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday April 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Motes officiating burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Jon Hogue, Brandy Pierce, Bron Tierce, Jamie Beck, Jordan Beck and Jacob McKnight.

Survivors include son, Greg (Cindy) Motes; brother, Gary (Nancy) Motes; sisters, Joan McCarley (Ruben) Loza and Betty Beck; grandchildren, Erin Motes and Savannah (Jacob) McKnight; great-grandchildren, Georgia McKnight and Oaklyn Swindle.

Mrs. Grimes was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Marion Frank and Georgia Lee Dodd Motes and was of the Baptist Faith.
