It is our privilege to announce Ms. Julie Graves, 10th-11th grade math teacher at Cherokee County High School, as our March 2021 Teacher of the Month for the Cherokee County area, in partnership with WEIS Radio.

Ms. Graves decided she wanted to be a teacher over 25 years ago. She expressed that not many people get to get up, go to work every day, and love their job, but she definitely does. Ms. Graves explained the most rewarding part of teaching is making connections with her kids and hearing what a difference she has made in former students’ lives. Ms. Graves strives to make learning fun by developing a rapport with the kids, emphasizing they are cared about and there is a desire for them to succeed.
