Jerry Wayne Keener, 78 of Leesburg, passed away Tuesday, March 23rd at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 26th at Shiloh Bothwell Cemetery with Duane Keener and Sam Eldridge officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Survivors include wife, Patricia Ann Hawkins Keener; son, Patrick Duane (Allison) Keener; brothers, Larry (Betty) Keener, Terry Mack (Lynn) Keener, and Randall (Joyce) Keener; sister, Joyce Barrett; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his three loving grandchildren, who were his pride and joy; Abby Paige Keener, Laura Lee Keener and Ann Margaret Keener.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Bettye Woods and Ruby Stallings.
Mr. Keener was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late R.C. and Flora Ester Hendrix Keener. Mr. Keener was retired from Goodyear and from service in the Army National Guard. Mr. Keener was a 50 year member of Round Mountain Masonic Lodge #487 and a member of Bothwell United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bothwell United Methodist Church or to the Shiloh Bothwell Cemetery fund.
