A Crossville man was jailed on burglary charges in DeKalb County; that, following the recent investigation by area law enforcement agencies.
A suspect was caught on surveillance video, at a home he had recently burglarized on the Alabama Highway 75 location in Painter. Investigators recognized the man as 26 year old Kevin Tyler Johnson; as a result, he was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd Degree and two counts of Theft of Property 4th Degree. It was discovered that Johnson had actually burglarized the same residence twice. Some of the items taken were recovered and have since been returned to the rightful owner.
That investigation was conducted by the DeKalb County Criminal Investigations Unit, and the Albertville Police Department.
