Emergency crews were called to the Indian Mountain ATV Park in Spring Garden on Saturday afternoon in response to an ATV accident at the park. According to reports the vehicle crashed and went down into a ravine. It took emergency/rescue workers and firefighters an extended period of time to get to the victim due to the terrain. 

A medical helicopter was brought in and the victim was airlifted to a nearby trauma center for treatment of unspecified injuries. His condition is not known at this time.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, Piedmont Rescue and Spring Garden Firefighters were called to the scene. An off-duty Cherokee County deputy who was at the park at the time the accident occurred also assisted.
