SAND ROCK – Maggie Hester and Rylin St. Clair both collected a pair of hits to lead the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 5-2 softball win over visiting Glencoe on Tuesday.
One of Hester’s hits was a double. She also scored a run for the Lady Wildcats (3-6). St. Clair also drove in a run.
Jadyn Foster doubled, walked, scored a run and drove in another. She also picked up the win in the circle, giving up just two earned runs on six hits with no walks and 12 strikeouts.
Katelyn St. Clair and Sammi Parker both posted a hit and scored a run. Ella Grace Hood had a hit and drove in a run. Maggie Tinsley walked and scored a run.
Sand Rock travels to Gaston on Thursday.
