A Cherokee County resident was jailed on drug, and chemical endangerment, charges during the early morning hours of Monday.

Michael Larry McCauley, age 38 of Leesburg – was placed under arrest and booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to a count of Chemical Endangerment of a Child.

McCauley’s bond was set at ,000.
