One person was taken to the hospital following a two vehicle accident involving a passenger car and an 18 wheeler occurring on Weiss Lake Blvd near the Coosa Corner in Leesburg on Friday afternoon.
The Leesburg Police and Fire Department, EMA personnel and Floyd EMS were all on scene. This marks the third accident at that location in a two day period.
No information was available regarding the extent of the person injured.
