SPRING GARDEN – Weston Kirk clobbered a 3-run homer to help the Spring Garden Panthers earn a 5-2 baseball win over Coosa, Ga. on Thursday.
Grayden Guthrie collected a pair of hits. Ryley Kirk added a double for the Panthers (3-5).
Landon Gowens picked up the win on the mound after tossing four innings of relief.
Spring Garden travels to Cedar Bluff on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
