The driver of a big rig that rolled on Thursday, managed to escape injury according to State Troopers. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that driver lost control of the 18-wheeler on County Road 29, just south of Piedmont that evening.
The Piedmont Rescue Squad also responded to the scene; fortunately the driver was simply shaken up from the experience.
