According to Leesburg Police, four people were injured in a two car crash occurring on Weiss Lake Blvd. at the intersection of Industrial Blvd. in front of the Coosa Corner just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
One of the vehicles overturned and at least two individuals had to be extricated. The accident remains under investigation.
The Leesburg Police and Fire Department, Floyd EMS, Cherokee County Rescue Squad personnel, Centre Police and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office responded.
