Deputies Recover Stolen Vehicle & Execute Search Warrant

According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Cherokee County deputies recovered a stolen vehicle Wednesday evening and arrested the theft suspect on Auburn Street in Centre.  Deputy Holcomb apprehended the driver of the stolen vehicle, Dillion D. Ocain, 29 of Leesburg, after a brief foot chase. Deputies observed illegal drugs at the residence on Auburn Street and obtained a search warrant.  After executing the search warrant, methamphetamine, marijuana, and a firearm were seized. 

Ocain was charged with first degree theft of property, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and attempting to elude.  Three other individuals were arrested from inside the residence and unlawful possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Kyle D. Johnson, 29 of Leesburg, Theresa M. Jennings, 29 of Gaylesville, and James T. Smith, 28 of Centre, were all transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
