Mr. Henry R. “Buck” Hendon, age 84 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, February 16th at his residence.

 

Funeral services will be 2:PM Thursday, February 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Green and Rev. Tim Smith officiating; burial will follow in Hebron At Key Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:PM Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers include Donnie Walker, Bill McReynolds, Rodney McReynolds, Jeff Rogers, Phillip Jordan, Junior Wheeler.

 

Survivors include a son, Tony Redell Hendon; sister-in-law, Margie (Bill) McReynolds; grandson, Tyler (Morgan) Hendon; great grandchildren, Bo and Bailey Hendon; several nieces & nephews.

 

Mr. Hendon was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Marion and Rosey Weatherby Hendon and was a member of Centre Congregational Holiness Church.
