A single-vehicle accident occurring Tuesday evening in Cherokee County, claimed the life of one person.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck took place at around 6:20pm on U.S. Highway 278 near mile marker 163, fatally injuring the driver of the 2019 Toyota involved.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
