A couple of Cherokee County residents are currently facing controlled substance charges.
Billy Chad Hunter, age 36, and Rebecca Rowland Taylor, age 60 – both of Centre were taken into custody and charged with three counts each of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. Taylor was booked into jail around 2:45pm; Hunter just after 4:00pm.
They remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $7,500 each.
