Spring Garden’s Welsh presented with All-County Football Defensive honor

SPRING GARDEN – WEIS Radio Sports Director Shannon Fagan traveled to Spring Garden Monday evening to present senior football player Luke Welsh the 2020 All-Cherokee County Defensive Most Valuable Player award at halftime of the girls basketball game against Cleburne County.

Welsh, a linebacker, posted 117 tackles, including 13 for lost yardage, with a sack and an interception for the Panthers (12-2) last season.
