Sunday Rollover Wreck Sends One for Treatment

A single-vehicle rollover on Sunday morning sent one person to the hospital.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that wreck occurred at approximately 11:40am when the driver of the 2008 Chevy Trailblazer, identified as a male resident of Rainsville, lost control while negotiating a curve and struck a guardrail.

That wreck took place just inside Cherokee County at the line with DeKalb County.

Meanwhile troopers responded to four separate accidents in DeKalb County on Sunday and only one involved injuries.  That wreck took place on County Road 33, shortly after 9:00pm, and involved a 2014 Ford Focus being driven by a female resident of Fyffe.

No additional information was available regarding the extent of either driver’s injuries, and both wrecks remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
