We understand that there are numerous TDS Customers across the Cherokee County area without phone/internet service. According to information we have received, around 175 people or more mainly in and around Cedar Bluff are currently affected. 

According to TDS, crews are working to repair a fiber optic cable that has been cut. TDS representatives say that the next update will be sometime around 5:00 p.m.

This is the second week customers have had a service outage. Crews worked last week to repair a fiber optic cable that was inadvertently cut by construction crews working along the Causeway in Cedar Bluff.
