Byron Keith Dean, age 63 of Centre, passed away Monday, January 18th at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, January 23rd at Pine Grove Baptist Church.  Mask and social distancing requested.

 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice Dean of Centre, Al.

 

Survivors include a daughter, Carla (Lamar) Richardson of Spartanburg, SC; son, Keith (Kerry) Atkison of Centre; parents, Ray and Barbara Hufstetler of Sand Rock; sister, Pam Judd of Madison; grandchildren, Alexandria (Eric) Paulz, Gabriel Ballou, Evan Atkison, Charlee Atkison, Jared Richardson, Clay Richardson, Kali (Shige) Yanase; nephews, Kevin St. Clair, Todd Pellegatti, Mark Pellegatti,; niece, Kelli Robertson.

 

Mr. Dean was a native of Tuckers Chapel and the Sandrock community and was a retired heavy equipment operator.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
