Georgia Woman Arrested in Cherokee County on Controlled Substance Charge

A Georgia woman was arrested in Cherokee County on drug charges Tuesday.

Kayla Renea Thomas, age 31 of Lyerly was placed under arrest, and booked into jail around 11:30am – on charges of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

She currently remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $3,000.
