The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, and Georgia State Patrol, continue their investigation into a fatal hit and run which claimed the life of an Alabama man on Sunday. Fifty-five year old Mark Snay of Ft Payne was struck and killed that night as he was walking eastbound along Highway 48 in the area of East Peach Orchard Road.
Law enforcement is looking for a 2007 – 2009 mid-size Ford or Lincoln SUV. That vehicle should have damage to the passenger side – which includes the passenger side mirror missing.
