Three people were arrested on controlled substance charges in Cherokee County Monday.
Levon Creed Copas, age 31 and Kasie Nicole Wilks, age 39, both of Centre, along with Stevie Dale McMurray, 46 from Piedmont, were taken into custody and charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Wilks was jailed around 8:30pm, Copas at 9:30pm and McMurray was booked in just before 6:00 that evening.
All three remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $3,000 each.
