Robert Baker age 89 of Centre passed away Wednesday December 30th at Floyd Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Sunday January 3rd at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Rev. David Dale and Joel Nowak officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Sunday at the cemetery.
Pallbearers include Joe Nowak, Randy Baker, Joe Reed, John Bates, Jeff Bates, Mike Flynt, Mark Flynt and Craig Bates.
Survivors include son, Steve Baker of Centre; sister, Bennie Bates; several nieces and nephews and many adopted grandchildren him and Clemmie cared for over the years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clemmie Baker, son, David Baker, brother, Billy Baker, sisters, Ann Flynt and Nina Reed.
Mr. Baker was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late William Raiford and Attis Davis Baker.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church.
