Piedmont Police Chief Freddie Norton confirms that a pedestrian was struck and killed on Friday night. The incident occurred on Highway 278 West near Sadlers Feeds.
Piedmont Police, Piedmont Fire and Piedmont Rescue responded to the scene. The name of the victim has not been released. The incident remains under investigation.
