SYLVANIA – A day after winning a double-overtime battle against Skyline on Tuesday, the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats turned around to take on Boaz on Wednesday at Sylvania.
Despite a sluggish game, Sand Rock captured a 35-28 win to improve to 9-7 on the basketball season.
Lanie Henderson led the Lady Wildcats with 12 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks, a steal and an assist. Haley Grace Lisenbee added 11 points, four rebounds, two steals and an assist. Maci Brown finished with 12 rebounds and three steals.
The Lady Wildcats travel to Westbrook Christian for a makeup game on Jan. 7.
