On Saturday, the Southside Fire Department responded to a paraglider accident. Firefighters arrived to find a male that was suspended by the parachute cords about 25-30 feet above the ground.
The Rainbow City Fire Department was requested for their ladder truck, high angle rescue techs and equipment.
