The Centre, Spring Creek and McCords Fire Departments were called to the scene of a garage fire at a residence on Highway 411 North in the Moshat area shortly after 4:30 Friday morning.
Centre Fire Chief Jeremy Lee said that the structure was a detached garage. Upon arrival, the building was fully involved in fire. Centre Engine-11 deployed handlines and worked to extinguish the fire and prevent damage to the home.
The homeowner stated the initial fire they saw was in the area where a heat lamp was being used for their dogs. The building and its contents were a total loss. The home suffered no damage.
Fortunately no one was injured.
