John Mark Abernathy, age 69 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, December 15th, 2020 in Covington, GA.
A memorial service will be held 3:PM Saturday, December 19th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Wells officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:PM until 3:PM at Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Abernathy is survived by his brothers, Earl David Wells and Jerry Wayne Wells; sisters, Julia Ann Abernathy, Gail Abernathy, and Brenda Abernathy; special sister, Donna Abernathy; several nieces and nephews also remain.
John was the son of the late James Mark Abernathy and Mary Ann Hunter Wells. He was a native of Centre and also of the Baptist Faith.
The family requests no food or flowers, but instead donations may be made to help purchase a headstone.
