Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle wreck taking place early Tuesday evening in DeKalb County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the mishap occurred at approximately 6:00pm on Alabama Highway 35 at the 26 mile marker, and involved a 2004 Toyota and a 2020 Nissan. 

The driver of the Toyota was unhurt, while both the driver of the Nissan – a female resident of Crossville and a female passenger were listed as being injured; no additional information was noted regarding the extent of their injuries.

The cause of that wreck remains under investigation by state troopers.
