A large portion of Cherokee County is without power this morning.
According to the information we have so far – service was interrupted shortly after 4:00am, and at this point what led to the problem is unclear.
We did have some rainfall overnight but nothing significant in nature.
Motorists should exercise extreme caution this morning and remember to treat those areas where red lights would normally be working as a four-way stop.
