Cherokee County Veterans Affairs Office Has Reopened In Centre

The Cherokee County Commission held an official ribbon cutting for the new Office of Veterans Affairs located inside the Cherokee County Administration Center.

Cherokee County Probate Judge Tim Burgess explains –

Burgess said that he would like thank Revenue Commissioner Dustin St’ Clair who donated the space which used to be a records room. Burgess said that all the construction work was done by Building/Grounds Supervisor Ricky Dale Jennings.

Former longtime Director of the Cherokee County Veterans Office Don Tucker was also at the ceremony, Tucker shared his thoughts –

The Cherokee County Veterans Affairs Office will be open only on Thursday’s from 8:00 – 3:30. If there is a need, the office will consider additional hours of operation.
