Shelley Bedwell Crowell, age 84 of Centre, passed away Thursday, November 11th at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 1:PM Saturday, November 14th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rodger Whorton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:PM Saturday, at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy (Rick) St. John of Tuscaloosa; brother, Doug (Andy) Bedwell of Gadsden; sisters, Shirley Shelley of Bartow, FL, Martha Wright of Centre, Pat Moore of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Matt (Jenny) Ward, Shannon Ward; great grandchildren, Hailey, Machenzie, Cameron, Tucker, Jase, Charlee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Crowell; sisters, Hazel Hart, Betty McClendon; brothers, June Bedwell, Frank Bedwell, Jim Bedwell, Bo Bedwell, Wendell Bedwell.
She was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late James Claude and Bertha Lee Wood Bedwell, she was a real estate broker and was of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities at 1626 Springhill Ave. Mobile, AL 36604 in honor of Tucker Ward, in memory of Shelley Crowell or to Friendship Baptist Church.
