There was a two vehicle accident occurring on the Alexis Road near Williams Street in Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Initial reports indicated that there were no injuries, however at least one person was checked at the scene by medics.

The accident involved a passenger car and a Fed Ex truck. 

Centre Police, Centre Fire and Floyd EMS responded to the scene.
