Gary Eugene Agan, age 77 of Centre, peacefully passed away Sunday, November 8th 2020 at his home with his family in attendance.
Funeral services will be held 1:PM Friday, November 13th, at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Swafford officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:AM until 1:PM Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Larry Blackwell, Phillip Weaver, Lester Pickens, Daniel Love, Garyn Sharpe, and Mark Mackey. Honorary pallbearers will include Billy H. Agan, Marvin W. Agan, and Chuck Sizemore.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Clara Agan Green and Doris Agan Morgan; brother, Charles Agan.
He is survived his son, Tim Agan of Pensacola; daughter, Tammy Agan Hutchinson of Pensacola; brothers, Marvin Agan of Summerville and Billy H. (Virginia) Agan of Leesburg; grandchildren, Erica (Daniel) Love, Kara and Abby Agan; great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Emily Love. A Host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also remain.
Mr. Agan was the son of the late Cecil Hugh and Thelma Truly Agan. He graduated from Cherokee County High School and was a welder for General Electric. He was an active member of New Prospect Church where he served as a deacon.
