Four Arrested Thursday on Controlled Substance Charges

Four people were arrested on controlled substance charges in Cherokee County Thursday.

Kristi Michelle Lewis, age 48 of Centre was charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Burglary 3rd Degree (two counts), Theft or Property 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 4th Degree.

Aaron Lee Dickens, 43 of Centre, was jailed on charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (two counts) and one count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

Richard Tyler Barnwell, age 32 of Piedmont was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

Thais Jane Green, age 32 of Piedmont, was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.

Lewis, Dickens and Barnwell remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center – with bonds set at $17,000 / $5,500 / and $3,000 respectively – Green was released after posting a bond of $3,000.
