On Monday, Morning Show host Jerry Baker welcomed Cherokee County Probate Judge and County Commission Chairman Tim Burgess to the WEIS Radio studios, to discuss Tuesday’s election – and early indications are that, locally, we could see a record turnout:
Judge Burgess also stressed that with the large number of people expected to go to the polls – every precaution regarding public health and safety is being taken
Judge Burgess also discussed a variety of other topics – including basic voting requirements, and the other amendments on the ballot, in detail.
The Judge also wanted to point out that there are currently 25 active cases of COVID-19 in Cherokee County and while wearing a mask is NOT required – he urges everyone to respect the health and safety of others by wearing one when you cast your ballot.
