Betty Ruth Robertson Duncan, age 90 of Sand Rock, passed away Sunday, October 31st at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:AM Tuesday, November 3rd at Sand Rock Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating; burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:AM Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
Survivors include son, Ronnie Duncan of Ft Payne; daughter, Pat (Jack) Hood of Sand Rock; grandchildren, Jessica Duncan, Brandon (Brittany) Duncan, Robin (Chuck) Cunningham, Rhonda (Chuck) Grimes, Miranda (Brandon) Higgins; great grandchildren, Scott Hester, Halie Grimes, Matthew Grimes, Jackson Miller, Carson Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie A.
Duncan.
Mrs. Duncan was a native of Red Bay, the daughter of the late Gather and Lilly Laura Haygood Robertson and was of the Baptist faith.
Memorials may be made to the Sand Rock Fire Department, to the Sand Rock Baptist Church Building Fund or the family will accept flowers.
