Irene McCarty age 94 of Centre passed away Wednesday October 28th at her residence.
Graveside services will be 3 PM Saturday October 31st at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Rev. Eddie Nation officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be friends.
Survivors include daughter, Dianne Laney of Centre.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hoyt McCarty.
Mrs. McCarty was a native of Cherokee County and a daughter of the late Everette William and Cecillia Elizabeth Stinson Eads and a member of Centre First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centre First Baptist Church.
