Leesburg Police Need Your Help Identifying ‘Quick Change’ Scam Suspects

Leesburg Police Investigator Jamie Chatman is asking for the assistance of the public in identifying two suspects involved in what is commonly referred to as a ‘quick change’ scam. The latest local incident occurred at the Maverick Station located on the Industrial Blvd.

Two black males entered the store and one of them bought a $1.99 item and paid with a $50 bill. After the clerk returned his change, he then told her that he had two dollars and asked for the $50 bill back after he had already received his change.

In the mean time, the second male was stealing items and trying to distract the clerk and acting very suspicious.

After the individuals left, the clerk  contacted a manager to come to the store and county the register, in total the pair managed to swindle around $150.

If you can identify the suspects below you are asked to contact Inv. Chatman at 256-526-8888.
